Description
The Ortofon STYLUS NC E (Night Club E) Replacement Stylus delivers detailed vinyl performance for DJs and studio professionals. Its Special Elliptical diamond supports precise groove contact during playback. Furthermore, the stylus provides output and controlled tracking for professional use. Designed for the Nightclub MKI cartridge, this replacement stylus supports reliable performance during demanding sessions. Its elliptical profile helps reproduce musical detail while maintaining controlled contact with records. Consequently, DJs can enjoy clear playback while working through mixing techniques. The Stylus NC E combines a refined stylus design with electrical performance. It produces 6 mV output at 1 kHz and 5 cm/sec. Additionally, it provides 23 dB channel separation for stereo reproduction. Its 1.5 dB channel balance further supports balanced left and right channel output. The frequency response extends from 20 Hz to 20 kHz with ±1.5 dB variation. Therefore, the stylus delivers a broad response suitable for music playback. Its 65 μm tracking ability also supports accurate groove handling during vinyl sessions. The elliptical stylus tip uses an 8/18 μm radius for controlled groove contact. Meanwhile, the recommended tracking force remains at 3.0 g for operation. DJs can adjust the tracking force between 2.0 and 5.0 g when needed. The 20° tracking angle supports stylus positioning during playback. Moreover, the 1000 Ohm internal impedance works with a recommended 47 kOhm load resistance. The 580 mH internal inductance and 200–600 pF load capacitance complete the electrical specifications. Overall, the Ortofon STYLUS NC E (Night Club E) Replacement Stylus provides precise tracking and detailed reproduction for vinyl applications. Its Special Elliptical design helps minimise scratching while supporting dependable club and studio performance. Therefore, it offers a practical replacement option for compatible Nightclub MKI cartridge systems.
