The Ortofon STYLUS N-CLUB MKII (Night Club MKII) Replacement Stylus provides a replacement stylus for the Nightclub MkII cartridge. It follows the established Nightclub series with refined performance for club and studio environments. Ortofon designed the Nightclub MkII around powerful, energetic sound and strong vinyl playback performance. Therefore, this replacement stylus helps maintain the cartridge’s intended sonic character. The special elliptical stylus design supports detailed reproduction across the record groove. Furthermore, its 13/25 μm stylus tip radius helps the stylus accurately follow groove information. This design also contributes to the Nightclub MkII’s broad frequency response from 20 Hz to 20 kHz. Consequently, DJs and studio users can enjoy clear and engaging vinyl playback. The Nightclub MkII delivers an output voltage of 8 mV at 1 kHz and 5 cm/sec. This high output works effectively with integrated phono preamps found in many DJ mixers. Additionally, the cartridge provides 23 dB of channel separation at 1 kHz. As a result, the system maintains defined stereo information during playback. The stylus supports a recommended tracking force of 3.0 g. Meanwhile, its tracking force range extends from 2.0 to 5.0 g. The stylus also provides 80 μm tracking ability at 315 Hz.
